Fireworks, including firecrackers
Sky Lanterns

Air Curtain Burners
Category 1 campfires have been permitted across the Coastal Fire Centre since August 28, 2024. This includes the permitted use of tiki and other torches, as well as chimineas. . For more information or updates on the bans and restrictions for the Coastal Fire Centre, visit Coastal Fire Centre bans and restrictions.
The fire danger rating is mainly low across most of the fire centre. While we have seen some rain, higher humidity and lower temperatures, we continue to urge caution when engaging in any activity that could potentially cause a wildfire. Human-caused wildfires are preventable.
