  • The intent of bringing forestry and tourism representatives together in this joint working group is to build effective working relationships and develop approaches to avoid or resolve conflict and address issues of mutual interest in the Discovery Islands area, including improved communication and the management of recreational experiences and visual quality.

Below is a list of services and products of interest to members of the North Island Woodlot Association. The posting fee for service providers is $100 annually, which also includes a complimentary membership. Mail outs from members to the membership is free.

The following plans or permits pertaining to woodlot licences are posted for public referral and/or First Nation information sharing. These draft plans will be removed from this site at the end of the specified posting period and may be revised to address the submitted comments before the final submission to the District Manager.
