Forest Health Workshop – March 11, 2026

On behalf of the Campbell River Natural Resource District please be advised that on March 11, 2026 the District will host a forest health workshop with David Rusch, our coast region forest health pathologist - save the date!

 Details to follow but expect a field-based component and discussion/information around topics such as drought, swiss needle cast and root rot (amongst others).

 For those interested in attending please send an email to Stewardship.DCR@gov.bc.ca.

 Please bring appropriate field safety and rain gear along with your lunch. A Pulaski with a secure head is recommended but not essential. Please carpool if you are able as bush parking at some sites may be limited.

 Ministry staff please include your call sign. We will be doing a bulk safety line submission for Ministry staff.
