Forestry Advocacy - Rallies

Grassroots organization is happening on Vancouver Island and across BC with an advocacy mandate for the importance of sustainable logging in BC.

 If woodlot licensees wish to voice their viewpoints for forestry management, two grassroots organizations are creating a forum to speak up about sustainable BC forestry management.   

The BC Forestry Alliance FB group originated as a Vancouver Island based advocacy movement two years ago and has grown to over 4000 members across the province. The BC Stand Up Forestry is a provincial FB group that started in the BC interior in Nov 2021 and has quickly grown to include 2.7 K members in 2.5 months.  There is ad-hoc partnership between the two groups.
